| Season III delayed/cancelled | 17 February 2004 |
| Due the lack of signups, the 3rd season of the EBFL will be delayed till the end of april.
The succes of other competitions and cups is killing EBFL. The CB OpenCup is started at the same time EBFL should be starting.
A lot of clans participating in the CB OC also participated in the EBFL Season II.
We feel sorry for the 10 clans that signed up. More information when a new season starts will be presented in a few weeks!
I hope we'll see a lot more signups then, till then succes in your bf1942 carreer! |

| EBFL Looking for a new Head Admin | 13 November 2003 |
| So do you think you have what it takes to be the Head Admin of the European Battlefield 1942 League?
Well now you can put your money where your mouth is, as this will be my last season as Head Admin of EBFL because I have found life in another game called Eve Online.
So if you are interested drop me an e-mail (madmac@ebfl.co.uk) or pop in to #far2cool.ebfl-admin and have a chat with me.
I wish to thank all the clans that has taken part in the both seasons of EBFL as without you there wouldn't be a league.
All the best and I might see you on a battlefield sometime...

| 1.5 Patch & Clans With Drawn from the League | 02 November 2003 |
| Hi Guys and Gals,
Well EA have finally release 1.5 for Battlefield 1942, please note all matches will now be played with this patch. The EBFL Servers will be updated shortly. If you haven't downloaded it already the best connection I found is .
On a sad note we have had a few clans pull out of the league:
Premier Division - First Person Fraggers, Swedish Lök Platoon and Drug Enforcement Agency
Divison One - Suicide Squirrel Squad
Divsion Two - Jet-Ravens
Sadly any points that other clans may have against these clans will be voided and the clans won't be replaced this late in the season. I wish the clans all the best and I hope too see you back for Season III.
Week 7, 8 and 9 will shortly be up on the site so please check the too see when and where your match is going to be played.
Other than that, please feel free to provide feed back on the forums on how you think the season has been going, what you might change, how you would improve stuff... |

| Week 2 over and systems are coming online | 06 October 2003 |
| Well week 2 is over, with most of the matches played.
Just to let you all know that the Result system is now ONLINE and it can be founder under the under there is an option called Add/Confirm Match Result click on here and add or confirm the match result. If clans don't confirm match results after 3 days then a reminder will be sent if they are not confirmed after 5 days then the admin team will confirm the scores.
Also with the match result system being online the league table is also now starting to show match results in them, so it is in your clans interested to get the results entered ASAP.
Also another system that has come online is the System is now online, however it is currently showing the wrong IP numbers for the server so the correct IP numbers are:
213.253.1.177:14567 --> 213.253.57.29:14567
213.253.1.177:14568 --> 213.253.57.29:14568
No IP --> 195.22.128.153:14567 (This one can only been seen either on HLSW or in game).
Can admins please make sure you post the correct IP and Port numbers in the Pre-Match IRC Channels, and Clan Leaders / Deputy Clan Leaders please inform your clans of the correct IP and Port numbers. |

| Week One Almost over... | 28 September 2003 |
| Firstly, let me apologies about the servers that have caused some matches to be postponed, you will be glad to know that the servers are now back up and should be better than before.
Please find below the match schedule for Week 2 and Week 3. N$ Split up last week so I am just talking to a clan called NERV about taking their place, so any matches again NERV are to be confirmed.
If you are going to leave the league can you please let a league admin know ASAP so that we can get a clan in to replace you.
Other than that there are still a few matches to be played from week 1 as I thought there would be.
There is still a problem with the match schedule system (not displaying on the site) and there is a problem with the match result system as well. I have asked the webmaster to have a look at it ASAP. Once I know that the systems are ok I will let you know.
I am still looking for a few more match admins, so if any of you clan members are interested please get them to e-mail and I will admin the to the roster.
Week 2 Schedule can be found
Week 3 Schedule can be found

| =ISK= to with draw from the league. | 18 September 2003 |
| Yep the season hasn't even started and already we have our first clan to leave the league. The Clan in question is =ISK= the reason they pulled out is due to clan problems. They are however hoping to come back for season 3 of EBFL. |

| Welcome To EBFL | 12 September 2003 |
| I just want to say welcome to the new clans and welcome back to some of the old clans from Season 1. Well we have got 30 clans all ready to go, the final clan signed up tonight and they go by the name of Dignitas, for you who haven't been reading the postings on the forums of Battlefield websites, Dignitas is made up of LCD and Kompanix clan members so matches against Dignitas will bee (lets say) interesting. If you want to see a full list of clans taking part in the league please click on on the left.
EBFL are still accepting clan to sign ups, as there are usually a couple of clans that drop out from the league within the first couple of weeks, so if you clan is still interested please do signup as you may well end up play in the league.
If you have any questions or problems please feel free to contact me or any of the admin in either #far2cool.ebfl or #far2cool.ebfl-admin.
One other thing can a member of FMT and N$ please e-mail me (madmac@ebfl.co.uk) an e-mail address so that I can keep you up to date on what is happening with the league.
Thanks and here is to a good season.

| More Delays... | 09 September 2003 |
| It looks like the league will be delayed one final week as there are still bits of the site that the webmaster isn't happy about, the current start date stands at the 22nd September.
The webmaster is trying to get the site together for the 15th September but he is not sure if he can meet that deadline.
I will keep you posted of what is happening as soon as I know.
In the mean time I am still looking for players to help admin the matches, if you are interested please e-mail madmac@ebfl.co.uk. |
Mad Mac 09 September 2003 @ 22:21 GMT | |
| 15th September - League to Start.... | 08 September 2003 |
| Well the site seems to be back, I can now post news, Players can now sign up to clans so there are now only a couple of things that I am waiting for, a couple of more clans to sign up, although I and a couple of the admin team are talking to a number of clans to fill the final 2 places. The last thing that I am waiting on is to be able to assign clans to division, and then sort out the match schedule.
So at present we are aiming for the 15th of September to start the league, with the matches being played on Wednesday and Thursday, don't forget you can reschedule matches to be played when your clan is free but please arrange this with the clans you are competing against and post the new date and time in the FAO EBFL Admin.
We are still in need of more Match Admin to help run with the running of the matches, so if you are interested in being an admin please e-mail me (madmac@ebfl.co.uk).
Don’t forget if you have any comments about the league please post them on the League Forums.
Here is to a good season
